"San Luis Beautiful" Art at the Octagon Barn

Celebrating 25 years of Local Land Conservation

This festival of fine art, music, and history will feature original artwork by famed artisans of San Luis Outdoor Painters for the Environment, a locally renowned artist group filled with Central Coast talent. Ticket sales and a portion of the proceeds from art sales are dedicated to local land protection in San Luis Obispo County.

"Our SLOPE partner artists capture the magic of natural and human landscapes through an acute cultural lens born out of deep and personal experiences on the land," remarked Brian Stark, Executive Director of The Land Conservancy. "The paintings tell vivid stories of San Luis Obispo County's past, present and, hopefully, our future."

Don't miss the chance to thrill your senses during this special anniversary celebration! Feast your eyes on stunning paintings depicting the natural beauty and charm of the Central Coast. Titillate your taste buds with luscious local wines and cheeses. Enjoy live music as it mingles with the smell of fresh spring growth. Bring the kids for a tour of the recently restored turn-of-the century Octagon Barn and some art activities. Best of all, delight in buying original artwork as proceeds from "San Luis Beautiful" benefit further protection of the special places that make San Luis Obispo County so delightful.

"San Luis Beautiful" will showcase the work of nationally known painters who blend their artistic abilities and their love for local landscapes through San Luis Outdoor Painters for the Environment (SLOPE). Visit www.slopepainters.com to see samples of their fine artwork.
