South County Featured ProjectsThe world-class Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes and the adjacent Nipomo Creek Watershed require collaboration from multiple partners to control invasive weeds and re-establish native plants that will heal these damaged landscapes. The Land Conservancy has hosted educational outreach events in the community, treated invasive plants on more than 400 acres in the Dunes, and is currently implementing three large scale riparian restoration projects in Nipomo.
